KDIAF Submission Guidelines


Step 1: Register via FilmFreeway

Please visit the KDIAF FilmFreeway page and click “Submit Now” to complete your free registration:

Step 2: Submit Your Work and Required Materials

Please upload the following materials through the KDIAF FilmFreeway platform:

a. Film File

  • Original film file in MP4 (H.264 codec) or MOV format
  • Minimum resolution: 1920 × 1080 pixels
  • A downloadable link to the film must be provided
  • Blu-ray and DCP formats will not be accepted

b. Director Photo

  • One JPG file
  • Maximum file size: 5 MB

c. Film Stills

  • Three JPG images
  • Maximum file size: 5 MB each

d. Subtitles

  • All films containing dialogue must include English subtitles embedded in the film and provide a separate subtitle text file.
  • For Chinese-language works, Traditional Chinese subtitles are required.
  • Films in languages other than English may submit bilingual subtitles including both the original language and English.
  • Accepted formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, ODF, or SRT.
