Inspired by distance and connection among people, this project visualizes interpersonal tension through transformations of silhouette and pattern. It highlights the fluidity of human interaction and calls for renewed awareness of authentic social connections. The work echoes SDG 11, “Sustainable Cities and Communities,” focusing on the spatial relationships formed by population flow and interpersonal distance in urban environments. It guides viewers to rethink their own position and relationships with others in public spaces, thereby promoting a more perceptive and connected urban lifestyle. Simultaneously, the work also responds to SDG 3, “Good Health and Well-being,” focusing on the impact of interpersonal interaction on emotions and perceptions. Through visualizing the tension of distance between people, it evokes a greater emphasis on genuine social interaction and emotional connection.
