The Space and Time on the Wall

This installation designed for Beitou New Village is located on the wall at the entrance of the village’s public bathhouse. The purpose is to allow people who sit in it and listen to the gurgling sound of hot spring water to evoke memories and imaginations of the former military dependents’ village. The installation is in the shape of a pupa, symbolizing a time cockpit. And it takes our consciousness through time and space. The white appearance is like hot spring mist rising into the air.
