RSPNSE Vest: Modular Paramedic Vest

Indonesia has seen a recurring wave of large scale street protest recent years, from labor and student protests to city wide rallies. In these crowds, paramedics are often the first line of care, yet they still rely on rigid, bulky medical bags that slow them down exactly when speed saves lives.

RSPNSE Vest reimagines that equipment as a wearable system. Moving the kit from the hands to the body, its vest based design with quick release buckles, waterproof zippers, and modular MOLLE compatible pockets keeps critical supplies within one handed reach, while memory foam padding and adjustable straps ease the physical toll of hours spent moving through crowds.

Developed through direct co-design with local paramedic organization, RSPNSE Vest embodies this year’s theme, Resilience, not as an idea but as a wearable outcome: gear that lets responders adapt, endure, and act without hesitation, so they can keep showing up for their city no matter how volatile the ground becomes.
