Cicada songs are a familiar sound of summer, yet few truly know these insects. CICADA’S TUNE captures the calls of 47 cicada species in Taiwan through custom soundwave tubes and a playback device, paired with illustrated materials that convey essential ecological knowledge. By combining sound and visuals, the project invites the public to experience the unique beauty of Taiwan’s cicadas.
