Organized by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (Taiwan), and executed by Asia University, 2024 Taiwan International Student Design Competition (TISDC) invited professors and teachers in Taiwan to join 2024TISDC’s advisory council meeting on 8th March (Fri.). The theme “Equality” is linked to the “Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations. Through the innovative power of design, the competition aims to explore how equality can be achieved in different fields, promoting social integration and harmony. We look forward to students contributing their unique perspectives and creative thinking to help build a more just world society.
Once again, the executive team of TISDC would like to express their appreciation to those who participated in the advisory council meeting with their precious suggestions. Through this promotional campaign, 2024 TISDC hopes to attract more teachers and students to participate in the competition and reach the next milestone together. Prof. Apex Lin, the project director of TISDC, indicated that with students’ active participation in TISDC, the design field in Taiwan could keep moving forward. 2023 TISDC attracted 18,367 entries from 1,161 schools and departments in 56 countries around the world, which indicated that Taiwan International Student Design Competition has become one of the most remarkable worldwide student design competitions. TISDC thanks to iSee Taiwan Foundation, Sayling Wen Cultural & Educational Foundation, and TPCA Environment Foundation (TPCF) for continuing their sponsorship this year. This way, it would give young designers a stage to show their creativity to the world.

He mentioned that TISDC had initially focused on the quantity of works and influence, but now it has progressed to assemble a cooperative platform of 21 international design organizations worldwide. According to him, through this design competition, Taiwan has extraordinary value to the world.
